Joseph R. Jacques

Joseph R. Jacques is a Certified Management Consultant and a principal with John P. Weil & Company. He received a B.S. degree in Business Administration and earned an M.B.A. degree from DePaul University Graduate School of Business. He entered management consulting in 1973.

Mr. Jacques works with the internal problems of law firms and the law departments of corporations, governmental agencies and nonprofit institutions. He heads consulting assignments for John P. Weil & Company in law firm/law department management and organization, economic analysis and planning, technology planning, and use of technology. He is the editor of the quarterly publication Law Practice Management Solutions.

Mr. Jacques has lectured before Bar Associations, the Association of Legal Administrators, and has been published in various Bar journals. He is active in professional and community associations and serves in various capacities on nonprofit Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards.

John D. Moore

John D. Moore holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Augustana College and completed Masters and graduate studies at the University of Iowa. He is currently Vice Chairman and principal in the firm of John P. Weil & Company which provides management consulting services to institutions, private law firms, corporate legal departments, and governments legal agencies.

Mr. Moore heads consulting assignments in law firm/law department mergers and acquisitions, partner compensation systems, management structure and organization, time management, economic and financial evaluation and planning, office site selection and space planning, long range and strategic planning and marketing.

Mr. Moore has spoken before numerous Bar Associations, Practicing Law Institute, and the Association of Legal Administrators, where he is past International president. He has lectured on strategic planning and compensation systems for executives and lawyers. He is active in professional and community associations and has served in various capacities on Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards.

Mr. Moore has specialized in consulting since 1961 and worked for eleven years as the Administrative Partner for two separate national law firms.
